VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE CONTINUITY AND RESISTANCE TEST:
1.
Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between the terminals and the VSV body. If there is continuity, replace the VSV, Fig. 70
2.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals as shown in, Fig. 71
Specified Resistance:
30 - 50 Ohms at 68°F
3.
If resistance is not within specification, replace VSV.
