Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between the VSV terminals and the VSV body. Fig. 25

Check the resistance between the terminals of the VSV. Fig. 26
8.
The resistance should be 30 - 50 Ohms at 68° F.
9.
If not as specified, replace the VSV.
10.
Reinstall the VSV on the engine.
