Installing The EGR Valve And Pipes And Air Intake Plenum Stay

m. On the Cab and Chassis model only, disconnect the two water bypass hoses from the EGR valve
n. Disconnect the No.1 air hose from the reed valve

o. Remove the six bolts, two nuts, air intake plenum and gasket

5. Loosen the lock nut between the FPR and the LH fuel rail.

Installing The Fuel Pressure Regulator

6. Unscrew the FPR from the fuel rail.
7. Remove the O-ring from the FPR.

INSTALLATION:

1. Fully loosen the lock nut on the FPR and install a new O-ring.  Coat the O-ring with a light coat of gasoline to ease insert into the fuel rail.
2. Insert the FPR into the fuel rail, giving attention to the proper positioning of the pressure regulator.
