A production change has been made to Previa models during the 1996 model year, which affects the installation of the running board brackets for some
1996 and 1997 Previas. New Previa running board kits have a revised rear bracket to match the chassis holes that have been added to the vehicle.

Field Fix Procedure
Previous running board kits can be used by making the following revisions to the mounting brackets:
1.
Lower the front bracket 3/8" to allow clearance of the affected top bracket hole to the existing hole in the vehicle chassis as shown in figure 1.
