Adjust Spring Shaft Length
(a) Adjust the spring shaft length by turning the adjusting nut.
Low pressure-Lengthen A.
High pressure-Shorten A.
NOTE: For every turn of the adjuster, the fluid pressure will change by about:
Rear Drum Brake: 196.1 kPa (28.4 psi)
Rear Disc Brake: 382.5 kPa (55.5 psi)
Torque Nut
(b) Torque the nut.
Torque 13 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)
5. Remove LSPV gauge (SST) and bleed brake system. See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
6. Check for leaks.
