Previa Van LE 4WD L4-2438cc 2.4L DOHC SC MFI (1997)
5. Remove A/C compressor idler pulley.
Remove the 3 bolts and idler pulley.
Torque: 25 Nm (250 kg.cm, 18 ft. lbs.)
6. Remove A/C compressor with hoses attached.
(a) Disconnect the compressor connector.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the compressor.
NOTE: Put aside the compressor, and suspend it securely.
Torque: 25 Nm (250 kg.cm, 18 ft. lbs.)
7. Remove front propeller shaft.
8. Remove front differential.
9. Remove equipment drive shaft. See: Equipment Drive Shaft
10. Remove equipment drive housing.
11. Remove No. 1 equipment drive housing insulators.
Remove the nut and insulator. Remove the 2 insulators.
INSTALLATION NOTE: Align the hole and knock pin.
Torque: 25 Nm (250 kg.cm, 18 ft. lbs.)
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
