Engine Control Module: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Component Test

INSPECTION

If, after Performing circuit and individual component tests, it is determined that problem(s) may exist in the engine control module, It will be
necessary to substitute the engine control module with a known good engine control module and retest as needed.

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION 

When the ignition switch is turned ON, battery positive voltage is applied to the coil, closing the contacts of the EFI main relay and supplying
power to the terminal +"B" of the ECM.
