Installation

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: CERTIFICATION ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

(a) Engage the 2 craws and install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).

2. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH   See: Power and Ground Distribution/Power Distribution Module/Service and Repair/Installation

3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Lower Instrument Panel/Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Lower Instrument Panel/Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

6. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

7. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

8. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for Separate Type)   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

9. REGISTER KEY

NOTICE:
If the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) is replaced, register the key    See: Antitheft and Alarm Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Engine Immobiliser System.
