Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair
Removal

2ZR-FXE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP AND GAUGE

(a) Remove the fuel suction tube assembly with pump and gauge    See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel

Pump/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal.

2. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 3 harness clamps.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the wire harness.

(b) Remove the 2 harness protectors from the wire harness.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the wire harness.

(c) Disconnect the connector of the fuel sender gauge assembly.

(d) Release the lock as shown in the illustration and slide the fuel sender gauge assembly to remove it.
