Removal

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH

HINT
Refer to the procedure up to Remove Center Instrument Cluster Finish Panel Garnish    See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper Instrument Panel/Removal.

2. DISCONNECT NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

(a) Check that the power switch is off.

(b) Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

(c) Slide the slider to release the lock, and then disconnect the connector.

NOTICE:
