Shifter CVT: Service and Repair
Installation

P410 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL UNIT ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the shift lock control unit assembly with the 3 nuts.

Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the connector to the shift lock control unit assembly.

2. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper Instrument Panel/Installation

3. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper Instrument Panel/Installation

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

5. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

6. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

7. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for Separate Type)   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

8. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER

(a) Turn the power switch on (READY).

(b) Check that all available shift positions can be selected moving the shift lever.

HINT
After the shift lever is replaced with a new one, perform the above operation. If this operation is not performed, moving the shift lever
may not initially select shift positions.
