NOTE:  Do not heat the moulding excessively.

b. Cut the adhesive tape with a knife.

NOTE:
-

If reusing the moulding, take care not to damage the moulding.

Do not damage the body.

c. Remove the moulding.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING

a. Using a heat light, heat the moulding to 20 - 30 °C (68 - 86 °F).

NOTE:  Do not heat the moulding excessively.

b. Cut the adhesive tape with a knife.

NOTE:
-

If reusing the moulding, take care not to damage the moulding.

-

Do not damage the body.

c. Remove the moulding.

5. w/ Over fender:

REMOVE NO.1 REAR WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION
a. Using a drill, cut the flange portion of the rivet.

HINT:  Wind tape so that the drill blade appears approx. 5.0 mm (0.196 in.) on the edge.

NOTE:
-

If the drill is pressed too firmly, the rivet will also rotate with the drill edge, thus flange will not be cut.

-

If the drill is pried against the rivet, the installation hole of the rivet may be cut or the drill blade may be damaged.

-

Use caution against the hot rivet after cut.

b. Using a heat light, heat the moulding to 20 - 30 °C (68 - 86 °F).

c. Cut the adhesive tape with a knife.
