a. Disconnect the thermistor connector and clamp.
b. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard resistance: 1,500 ohm at 25 °C (77 °F)

If resistance is not as specified, replace the thermistor.

c. Reconnect the thermistor connector and clamp.
