Windshield Washer Spray Nozzle: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION 

INSPECT FRONT WASHER NOZZLE 

a. While operating the washer, check that the distance between the point where the washer fluid from the nozzles hits the windshield and the upsurge

area is within the range indicated by the hatched line.

A: Approx. 400 mm (15.75 in.)
B: Approx. 65.1 mm (2.56 in.)
C: Approx. 101.5 mm (3.99 in.)
D: Approx. 68.2 mm (2.69 in.)
E: Approx. 4.5 mm (0.18 in.) 

b. Check if the lower point where the washer fluid hits the windshield is within the range of the wiping pattern (the area of the glass which is wiped

by the wiper blades).
