Removal

SUSPENSION: FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING (for Sport Package): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
2. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Wheel Speed

Sensor/Service and Repair/Front Speed Sensor/Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH See: Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Front Stabilizer Bar/Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and disconnect the shock absorber from the steering knuckle.

HINT:  While fixing the nuts in place, loosen and remove the bolts.

(b) Remove the 3 nuts and shock absorber with coil spring.
