Introduction

Some RAV4 customers may complain of water on the passenger's side floorboard after a heavy rainstorm or when going through a carwash. Water may
be traveling underneath the outer cowl panel and entering the passenger compartment through the fresh air inlet of the heater box. The following repair
procedure has been made available to correct this concern.

NOTE:

This issue addresses water entering into the air inlet. If any other leaks are detected, they need to be fully diagnosed and reported.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
