Removal and Installation

MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

CAUTION:  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

a. Detach the 4 clips and remove the map light.
b. Disconnect the light connector.

3. REMOVE MAP LIGHT LENS

a. Using a screwdriver, pry out the 8 claws and remove the map light lens.

HINT:  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL MAP LIGHT LENS

a. Attach the 8 claws to install the map light lens.
