d. Set the wheel disc to the mounting machine and install the lower tire bead. Position the main body of the valve sensor in the shaded area shown

in the illustration.

NOTICE: If the valve sensor is positioned outside this area, it will interfere with the tire bead and may be damaged.

e. Install the upper bead.

NOTICE:

Make sure that the tire bead and tool do not interfere with the main body of the sensor and that the sensor is not clamped by the bead.

Check that there is no water or other liquid around the tire pressure warning valve.

2. INSTALL FRONT TIRE

Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)

3. INSTALL REAR TIRE

Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)

4. REGISTER TRANSMITTER ID

HINT: If the tire pressure warning ECU is replaced with a new one or with an ECU from another vehicle, register the transmitter ID codes.

5. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM

DISPOSAL

1. DISPOSE OF TIRE PRESSURE WARNING VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT: The tire pressure warning valve is powered by a lithium battery. When disposing of the tire pressure sensor, remove the battery and
dispose of it properly.

a. Use the tip of a screwdriver to pry off the back cover.
