Seat Belt Reminder Buzzer: Testing and Inspection

SEAT BELT WARNING INSPECTION

INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY OPERATION

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminals A1 and A7.
2. Connect the terminal A7 to terminal A9 through the 3.4 W test bulb.
3. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal A10.
4. Check that the bulb lights up and that the buzzer sounds for 4 - 8 seconds.
5. Return to step (a). and operate the buzzer again.

6. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal A8.
g. Check that the buzzer stops sounding.

HINT:  Check the buzzer within a period of 4 to 8 seconds.

If operation is not as specified, replace the relay.
