Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair
Replacement
RELEASE CYLINDER REMOVAL
1. Disconnect clutch line.
Using Special Service Tool (SST) 09023 - 00100 or equivalent, disconnect the clutch line.
Use a container to catch the fluid.
Torque: 15 N.m (11 ft. lbs.)
2. Remove: 2 bolts and pull out release cylinder.
Torque: 12 N.m (9 ft. lbs.)
RELEASE CYLINDER INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
INSTALLATION HINT: After installation, bleed the clutch system.
