3. w/o ABS:

DISCONNECT BRAKE LINES
Using SST, disconnect the 4 brake lines from the master cylinder and 3-way.
SST 09023-00100
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.) 

4. w/o ABS:

REMOVE FRONT LH BRAKE LINE
(a) Remove the clamp.
(b) Using SST and spanner, remove the front LH brake line from the flexible hose.

SST 09023-00100
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.) 

5. w/ ABS:

DISCONNECT BRAKE LINES
Using SST, disconnect the 2 brake lines from the master cylinder.
SST 09023-00100
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.) 

6. M/T:

DISCONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR HOSE

7. w/o ABS:

REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER
(a) Remove the 2 nuts and pull out the master cylinder and 3-way.

Torque: 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) 

(b) Remove the gasket.

HINT:  At the time of installation, use a new gasket.

8. w/ ABS:

REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER
(a) Remove the 2 nuts, and pull out the master cylinder.

Torque: 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) 

(b) Remove the gasket.

HINT:  At the time of installation, use a new gasket.

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT:

Before installation, adjust the length of the brake booster push rod.

After installation, fill the brake reservoir with brake fluid, bleed the brake system, and check for leaks.

After installation, check and adjust the brake pedal.

M/T:
After installation, bleed the clutch system.
