4. w/ ABS for 4WD

DISCONNECT ABS SPEED SENSOR AND WIRE
(a) Remove the bolt, and disconnect the sensor.

Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.) 

(b) Remove the 2 bolts, disconnect the speed sensor wire harness from the No. 1 suspension arm.

Torque: 19 Nm (190 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.) 

5. REMOVE BRAKE DRUM
6. DISCONNECT BRAKE LINE

Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the brake line from the No. 1 suspension arm.
Torque: 19 Nm (190 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.) 

7. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE

Remove the bolts and disconnect the parking brake cable from the No. 1 suspension arm.
Torque: 19 Nm (190 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.) 

8. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB
9. DISCONNECT SHOCK ABSORBER

10. DISCONNECT STABILIZER BAR AND LINK FROM LOWER SUSPENSION ARM 
11. REMOVE UPPER SUSPENSION ARM

(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and upper suspension arm.
(b) Employ the same manner described to the other side.

Torque: 113 Nm (1,150 kgf-cm, 83 ft. lbs.) 

12. REMOVE LOWER SUSPENSION ARM

(a) Place matchmarks on the camber adjust cam and suspension member.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, camber adjust cam and lower suspension arm.

Torque: 113 Nm (1,150 kgf-cm, 83 ft. lbs.) 

(c) Employ the same manner described to the other side.

13. REMOVE COIL SPRING AND REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM

(a) Place matchmarks on the toe-adjust cam and body.
(b) Loosen the bolt, and remove the coil spring and upper insulator.

HINT:  At the  time of installation, fit the lower end of the coil spring to the gap of the No. 1 suspension arm.

(c) Remove the bolt, toe-adjust cam, 2 attachments, nut and lower suspension arm.

Torque: 132 Nm (1,350 kgf-cm, 98 ft. lbs.) 

HINT:  At the time of installation, tighten the bolt after stabilizing the suspension.

14. REMOVE SPRING BUMPER

Remove the bolt and spring bumper.
Torque: 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) 

REPLACEMENT 

1. REPLACE SHOCK ABSORBER LOWER PIVOT PIN

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and lower pivot pin.
(b) Install a new pivot pin with the 2 bolts.
