Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Rear Shock Absorber

REMOVAL 

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.) 

2. REMOVE SHOCK ABSORBER

(a) Remove the suspension cap.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts, 2 retainers and cushion.

Torque: 14.5 Nm (150 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.) 

(c) Using a jack, support the No. 1 suspension arm.
