Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair
No. 2 Cooling Fan Motor

Removal and Installation

1. Remove RH engine under cover.
2. W/ A/C: Remove cooler condenser.
3. Remove upper radiator supports.

4. Remove No. 2 cooling fan.

(a)

Disconnect the cooling fan connector.

(b) Push the radiator toward the front bumper.

(c)

Remove the 3 bolts.

(d) Push the No. 2 cooling fan toward radiator and pull it upward.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Install the No. 2 cooling fan 3 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (43 inch lbs.)

NOTE:  After installation, check that the rubber cushion (A) of the support is not depressed.

-

Install upper radiator supports.
Torque: 13 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)
