5. Install upper valve body cover gaskets, plate and throttle modulator oil strainer.

a. Position a new gasket and plate and then another new gasket. 

HINT:  Both gasket are identical.

b. Install the oil strainer onto the gasket.

6. Install upper valve body cover.

a. Position the upper valve body cover.
b. Install and finger tighten the 11 bolts. 

HINT:  Each bolt length is indicated below.

Bolt A: 17 mm (0.67 inch)  

-

Bolt B: 53 mm (2.09 inch) 

7. Install and finger tighten bolt lower valve body.

8. Install check balls. 

Install the 2 check balls into the lower valve body.
