Removal

ENGINE IMMOBILISER: ID CODE BOX (w/ Smart Key System): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL

(a) Remove the lower instrument panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Lower

Instrument Panel/Removal.

3. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER UNIT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the air conditioner unit See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair/Removal.

4. REMOVE ID CODE BOX

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Detach the clamp.
(c) Remove the bolt and ID code box.
