Installation

U140F AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER

(a) Install the oil cooler to the bracket with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(b) *1: Connect the No. 1 oil cooler outlet hose to the transmission.
(c) *2: Connect the No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose to the transmission.
(d) *3: Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose to the transmission.
(e) *4: Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose to the transmission.

2. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID
3. INSPECT AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID

(a) Inspect the automatic transaxle fluid See: Service and Repair/Procedures.

4. ADD COOLANT

(a) Add the coolant See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair.
