Introduction
The DIO installation instructions for the RAV4 towing hitch have been revised for vehicles equipped with the tow package.

Correct torque specifications can be found in the Installation Instructions section of this bulletin or in the Technical Information System (TIS), 2006 -
2007 model year RAV4:

Accessories Installation: "2006 RAV4 Towing Hitch PT228-42060 (Vehicles with Tow Package) Rev B".

Install LH Stiffener Bracket and Back Plate Assembly.
