RAV4 4WD V6-3.5L (2GR-FE) (2006)
Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model year RAV4 Repair Manual:
(2) Remove the drive shaft damper by removing the inboard joint assembly.
Refer to TIS applicable model year RAV4 Repair Manual:
(3) Install the NEW drive shaft damper with a NEW clamp and inboard boot kit.
NOTE
The orientation of the damper is not critical. It can be placed on the shaft in either direction.

(4) Install the left front drive shaft assembly with a new drive shaft nut. Refer to TIS applicable model year RAV4 Repair Manual:
4. Confirm the ATF level is correct.
5. Repeat the test drive until the transaxle is at operating temperature and listen for the whine noise from the Drivetrain.
