Windshield: Component Tests and General Diagnostics
Windshield Deicer Relay
ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD DEICER RELAY (Marking:DEICER)
a. Remove the defogger relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
2. INSPECT WINDSHIELD DEICER RELAY
a. Measure the resistance of the relay.
If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
3. INSTALL WINDSHIELD DEICER RELAY
Windshield Deicer Switch
ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. CHECK WINDSHIELD DEICER SWITCH
a. Disconnect the windshield deicer switch connector.
