Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Removal

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR: REMOVAL

Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

The procedure described below is for the RH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

6. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS OUTER WEATHERSTRIP ASSEMBLY

Use the same procedure as for the LH side    .

8. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT DOOR TRIM BRACKET   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

13. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Using "TORX" socket wrench T25, remove the 3 screws and the power window regulator motor.
