Headlamp Dimmer Switch: Testing and Inspection
LIGHTING (EXT): HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH: INSPECTION
1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the resistance of the light control switch.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch.
(b) Check the resistance of the headlight dimmer switch.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch.
(c) Check the resistance of the turn signal switch.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch.
