Repair Procedure

1. Remove tailpipe assembly.

CAUTION

Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe.

The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped. Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.

A. Remove the bolt clamp and gasket.

B. Disconnect the tailpipe assembly from the exhaust pipe support.

2. Install tailpipe assembly.

A. Connect the tailpipe to the exhaust pipe support.

B. Install a NEW gasket to the center exhaust pipe.

C. Connect the tailpipe to the center exhaust pipe.

D. Attach a NEW clamp to the tailpipe and center exhaust pipe. Then install the NEW bolt to the clamp.

Torque: 2 N*m (326 kgf*cm, 24 ft*lbf)
