Oil Pressure Confirmation
Using a mechanical oil pressure gauge, confirm the oil pressure of the vehicle.
At Idle: 29 kPa (4.2 psi, 0.3 kgf/sq.cm)
At 3000 rpm: 294 - 588 kPa (43 - 85 psi, 3.0 - 6.0 kgf/sq.cm)
For additional information, please refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), 2005 model year Sequoia Repair Manual: Lubrication: Oil And
Filter: Inspection. If the oil pressure is within the specifications listed above, perform the following repair procedure.
HINT:
It is normal for the Sequoia oil pressure gauge to indicate below the 1/4 mark when idling in drive at normal operating temperature. If the gauge is
reading abnormally low, refer to TSB No. EL017-03, "Oil Pressure Gauge Reads Low."
Repair Procedure
Order combination meter:

Obtain the following vehicle information:

Actual mileage of the vehicle

Completely fill out the Digital Odometer Order Form.

Fax the form to Yazaki.
Remove combination meter:
1.
Remove 2 screws and the cluster finish panel.
