Introduction
Under certain cold conditions (approximately 0°F /-18° C or below), some 2003 and 2004 model year Sequoia vehicles equipped with side airbags may
exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1140 or B1141 stored in the Airbag ECU memory. To prevent a M.I.L. "ON"
condition, the Airbag ECU has been updated.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Powertrain Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the
vehicle's in-service date.
