Air Bag Deactivation Switch: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH INDICATOR LIGHT
a. Turn the ignition switch ON.
b. Check that the airbag cut-off switch indicator light goes off after it comes on for 3 seconds.
c. Check that the airbag cut-off switch indicator light comes on after pressing the airbag cut-off switch for approximately 2 seconds.
2. INSPECT AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH CONTINUITY
a. Inspect the continuity between each terminal.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the airbag cut-off switch.
