AUDIO / VIDEO: REAR DOOR SPEAKER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

-

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH RH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG RH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE REAR UPPER DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL RH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the speaker connector.
(b) Remove the 3 screws.

(c) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the speaker.

NOTE:  Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

6. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 14 Speakers)

(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the speaker.
