Rear Suspension Bolt Corrosion (Vibration While Driving)
Service Category
Suspension
Section
Rear Suspension
Applicability
Introduction
Under certain driving and road conditions corrosion may build on the front bolts of the rear suspension member. This condition may result in vibration
from the rear of the vehicle while driving. Newly designed fasteners for the forward mounting location are available to address this condition. The
rearward fasteners are naturally shielded from possible corrosion due to the differing mounting locations and are not affected. Follow the procedures in
this bulletin to complete the repair.
