DOOR / HATCH: BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR ROD (w/ Power Back Door) See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

2. REMOVE BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly
3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly
4. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly
5. REMOVE BACK DOOR STRAP COVER See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly

8. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

9. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the clamp.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts and remove the back door outside handle.

Installation

DOOR / HATCH: BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE

(a) Install the back door outside handle with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(b) Engage the clamp.
(c) Connect the connector.

3. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

4. INSTALL BACK DOOR PULL STRAP See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Reassembly
5. INSTALL BACK DOOR STRAP COVER See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Reassembly
