Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair
Removal
3UR-FE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube assembly See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel
Pump/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal.
2. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.
(b) Press down on the sender gauge claw labeled A. Then slide the sender gauge upward to remove it.
