Removal

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

HINT:
-

Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

-

The procedure described below is for the RH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:  When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service

and Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

6. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

HINT:  Use the same procedure as for the LH side  See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Outer Rear View Mirror/Removal.

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS OUTER WEATHERSTRIP ASSEMBLY

HINT:  Use the same procedure as for the LH side  .

8. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT DOOR TRIM BRACKET See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

13. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Using "TORX" socket wrench T25, remove the 3 screws and the power window regulator motor.
