Front Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

FRONT DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP ASSEMBLY OUTER LH REPLACEMENT 

HINT: 

-

The installation is in the reverse order of the removal.

On the RH side, use the same procedures as on the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH
3. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE PANEL UPPER LH
4. REMOVE BACK FRAME PLATE LH
5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
7. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH
8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP ASSEMBLY OUTER LH

a. Put protective tape under the weatherstrip.
b. Using a screwdriver or moulding remover, remove the weatherstrip.

HINT:  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
