Introduction

This bulletin clarifies the initialization procedures that are necessary if power is lost to the driver's door, moon roof, or back door ECU. It is necessary to
re-initialize one or more of these systems if the main power source is lost either by a battery being disconnected, fuse being removed, or ECU
disconnected from power. This TSB will aid in recognizing the available systems for faster and more accurate service.

Applicable Vehicles

2003 - 2004 model year 4Runner vehicles.

2004 model year Highlander, Prius, Sienna and Solara vehicles.

System Identification

The following table contains all the necessary information to correctly identify vehicles that require initialization. Always verify proper operation after
the initialization procedure has been completed.
