Repair Procedure:
Steering Pop or Click Noise
Prior to removing the steering intermediate shaft, be sure the steering wheel and front wheels will not turn. Once the intermediate shaft is removed, the
steering wheel may spin freely and become out of time with the steering rack.

Repair Procedure:
Squeak Noise
1.
From inside the vehicle, locate the steering intermediate shaft dust boot. Unclip the three brass colored clips securing the dust boot to the floor.
2.
Slide the dust boot up towards the steering wheel.
