Service Category
General

Section
Pre-Delivery Service

Market
USA

Applicability

Introduction

As a result of the removal of the Short Pin, the "automatic open and close" and "jam protection" functions of the power sliding doors will be inoperative
due to loss of the power sliding doors position. Initialize the power sliding doors after installing the Short Pin in its original location during Pre-Delivery
Service (PDS).

^ Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power sliding doors may need to be re-initialized.

^ If the short pin is installed with the power sliding doors fully closed, the initialization may not be required because the power sliding door position

memory is still stored in the microcomputer.
