3. DISCONNECT LIQUID AND SUCTION TUBES

a. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the both tubes.

Torque: 10 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

NOTE:  Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

HINT:  At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
Lubricate 2 new O-rings with compressor oil and install them to the tubes.

b. Remove the pipe and grommet.

4. REMOVE WATER HOSES FROM HEATER RADIATOR PIPES AND HEATER PIPES

a. Using pliers, grip the claws of hose clips and slide hose clip along the hose.
b. Remove the water hose.
c. Remove the pipe grommet.

HINT:  At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.

Insert the long side (with V-Shaped contours) of water hose to heater radiator pipe.

When installing water hoses align V-Shaped contours of water hose with projection of grommet

5. REMOVE THESE PARTS:

a. Rear No.1 seat
b. Rear No.2 seat
c. Back door scuff plate
d. Rear LH quarter trim plate
e. Rear heater control assembly
f.

LH quarter trim plate

6. REMOVE REAR A/C UNIT
