HINT:  At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
If the evaporator is replaced, add compressor oil to the evaporator.
Add 40 cc (1.4 fl.oz.)
Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent 

2. 5-Door Models:

REMOVE EVAPORATOR
a. Remove the rear cooling unit.
b. Remove the expansion valve.

c. Remove the liquid and suction tubes.

1. Pry out packing.

HINT:  At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
Do not reuse the packing.

2. Loosen the 2 nuts and remove the both tubes.
Torque:
Liquid tube: 14 N.m (140 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)
Suction tube: 32 N.m (330 kgf.cm, 24 ft.lbf)

NOTE:  Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

HINT:  At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
Lubricate 2 new O-rings with compressor oil and install them to the tubes.

d. Remove the evaporator.

1. Remove the 2 screws, 4 holding springs and air duct.
2. Remove the 4 screws and separate the cooling unit cases.
3. Remove the evaporator.

HINT:  At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
If the evaporator is replaced, add compressor oil to the evaporator.
Add 40 cc (1.4 fl.oz.)
Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent.
