Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH HOSE

(a) Disconnect the MAF meter connector.

(b) Disconnect the these hoses:

-

EVAP hose from charcoal canister

-

PCV hose from cylinder head cover

(c) Disconnect the 2 clamps and disconnect the air cleaner cap from the air cleaner case.
(d) Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose from the throttle body.
(e) Remove the air cleaner cap with hose.

2. REMOVE MAF METER

Remove the 2 bolts, MAF meter and gasket.

HINT:  At the time of installation, please refer to the following items. Use a new gasket.

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
