NOTICE:  Use SST 09922-10010 in the direction shown in the illustration.

IMPORTANT:  To obtain the correct torque when using SST 09922-10010, use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 345 mm (13.58 in.).

6. Confirm total preload to ensure it is within specification.

Preload (turning): 0.8-1.4 N.m (8-14 kgf.cm, 6.9-12.2 in.lbf)

Reinstall Power Steering Gear As Described In Repair Manual (See page SR-SO.)

NOTE:  Confirm that the power steering fluid level is full.

Check Vehicle Alignment (toe only)
Set toe to specification.

Road Test Vehicle.
