Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair
Installation

CRUISE CONTROL: CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH

(a) Install the cruise control main switch with the 2 screws.

Torque: 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL STEERING PAD (See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation)

3. INSTALL NO. 3 LOWER STEERING WHEEL COVER (See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering

Pad/Installation)

4. INSTALL NO. 2 LOWER STEERING WHEEL COVER (See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering

Pad/Installation)

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTE: Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal  (See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization).

7. INSPECT STEERING PAD (See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation)

8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
